Ungewollt schwanger in Deutschland – Der Paragraf und ich

Germany in 2022: young women are fighting against Section 218 and for the right to good medical care for abortions. Because this has once again become a problem in this country. They are the granddaughters of the “witches” who fought for legal abortion in Germany on the streets over 50 years ago with anger, wit and vehemence. But instead of posters, leaflets and chants, the protest today - just like #Metoo - is mainly taking place on social media: #MyBodymyChoice and #wegmit218 are the furious names on Instagram, Twitter and TikTok.

The film “Unwanted Pregnancy in Germany - The Paragraph and I” portrays a group of women who have been confronted with the issue of abortion in the course of their lives: as doctors, activists, mothers or childless women, in East and West, in the city and in the countryside.
